Jay Jones has spent 46 years as a student of ontology, comparative religion, and the history of human spiritual experience. He holds a Doctor of Divinity and has served in ministry across multiple traditions — as a lay minister, lay rabbi, founding pastor of the defunct online church The Jesus Underground, and founder of The Order of Saint Dyffrig of Wales, a small Celtic contemplative order.

He works outside ministry by profession, which is intentional. Wayfarer House has never cost anyone a single dime and never will.
